Charm school, personal valets, and a handy copy of Emily Post’s bible on etiquette may have been seen as artifacts of the past, but this may no longer be too far in our rearview mirror. The generation gap in polite communications and manners has been noted for years, with many more antiquated individuals looking disdainfully at their youthful counterparts. However, in a new trend, spearheaded by Kurt C. International Consulting, a new wide-ranging employment has popped up in households globally.

Kurt Clonsworth, CEO of Kurt C. International Consulting, saw a need and moved quickly to fill it. “Complaints of lack of follow through with sympathy or thank you cards, of elbows on tables, and of complete refusal to acknowledge punctuality were appalling. When the household staff had more of a grasp on the basics than their wayward children, our clients insisted on help in this area,” reported Mr. Clonsworth.

Thus, the Etiquette Managers were created. This specialization has now quickly become the number one requested service of KCIC and has spread to other household staffing companies as well.

“My parents are finally letting me attend our family’s compnay board meetings,” reported one satisfied client. “I’m presentable. Next, they may include me on emails. Demetri [her KCIC Etiquette Manager] might be hot, but he also taught me not to ‘reply all’.” After Demetri quickly pulled her aside, the client apologized for her social misstep and stated, “Demetri is a professional. I am pleased to report a positive influence from him.”

This reporter could not help but notice the kind, reassuring smile this decidedly hot and professional household staff member gave to his socially blossoming ingénue.
